Batsu site was established specifically for viewing the variety and abundance of birds in the Savegre region. More than 60 species of birds can be observed in this location. The garden was planted with specific types of plants that attract birds, especially hummingbirds, as well as others. A small pavilion with seating provides one with opportunities to view and photograph birds that visit the area to feed on the available food sources. Reservations are required prior to visiting the site and a local guide is provided.
